Payment Methods​

We accept:

  • 🏦 ACH/Bank Transfer: Enterprise plans only
  • 📄 Invoicing: Available for annual Enterprise plans

Billing Cycles​

Monthly:

  • Billed on the same day each month
  • Cancel anytime, no long-term commitment
  • Pro: $15/month
  • Pro+: $29/month

Annual:

  • Billed once per year
  • Save 2 months (17% discount)
  • Pro: $150/year ($12.50/month equivalent)
  • Pro+: $290/year ($24.17/month equivalent)

Upgrading Your Plan​

From Free to Pro or Pro+​

  1. Go to Profile → Billing section
  2. Click "Upgrade"
  3. Choose a plan (Pro or Pro+)
  4. Choose billing cycle (monthly or annual)
  5. Enter payment information
  6. Confirm upgrade

Immediate benefits:

  • All selected plan features activated instantly
  • Existing reports preserved
  • No data migration needed

From Pro/Pro+ to Enterprise​

  2. Discuss your needs with our team
  3. Receive custom quote
  4. Sign agreement
  5. Seamless migration with our help

Downgrading Your Plan​

From Pro/Pro+ to Free​

  1. Go to Profile → Billing
  2. Click "Change Plan"
  3. Select Free plan
  4. Confirm downgrade

What happens:

  • ⚠️ Sites: If you have more than 3 sites, you'll need to delete extras
  • ⚠️ Storage: Data exceeding 500 MB per site will be archived
  • ⚠️ Reports: Reports older than 24 hours will be deleted
  • ✅ No immediate charge: You keep Pro benefits until end of billing period

Recommendation: Download important reports before downgrading.

Usage & Limits​

Storage​

How storage is calculated:

  • Original images uploaded
  • Generated diff images
  • Comparison metadata

Storage tips:

  • Delete old branches you no longer need
  • Remove archived sites
  • Use appropriate image compression

What happens when you hit limits:

  • Free plan: Upload blocked until you free up space
  • Pro plan: Soft limit with grace period, then upload blocked
  • Enterprise: Custom limits, contact us before hitting them

API Rate Limits​

How rate limits work:

  • Measured per minute
  • Resets every 60 seconds
  • Applies to all API endpoints

Rate limit headers:

X-RateLimit-Limit: 300
X-RateLimit-Remaining: 287
X-RateLimit-Reset: 1640000000

What happens when you hit limits:

  • HTTP 429 status code returned
  • Retry-After header indicates wait time
  • Implement exponential backoff in your code

Team Members​

Free plan:

  • 1 user (account owner)

Pro plan:

  • Up to 5 team members
  • Each member gets full access
  • Shared sites and reports

Enterprise plan:

  • Unlimited team members
  • Role-based access control (coming soon)
  • Department-level organization

Billing Management​

Viewing Invoices​

  1. Go to Profile → Billing
  2. Click "Invoices" tab
  3. Download any invoice as PDF

Invoice details include:

  • Invoice number and date
  • Billing period
  • Amount charged
  • Payment method
  • Company information

Updating Payment Method​

  1. Go to Profile → Billing
  2. Click "Update Payment Method"
  3. Enter new card details
  4. Save changes

Security:

  • We use Stripe for secure payment processing
  • We never store full credit card numbers
  • PCI DSS compliant

Canceling Your Subscription​

Pro/Pro+ plan:

  1. Go to Profile → Billing
  2. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  3. Confirm cancellation

What happens:

  • ✅ Keep Pro features until end of billing period
  • ✅ No further charges
  • ✅ Automatically downgrade to Free plan
  • ⚠️ Data subject to Free plan limits after period ends

No penalties:

  • No cancellation fees
  • No questions asked
  • Reactivate anytime

Refund Policy​

Pro Plan​

Monthly subscriptions:

  • No refunds for partial months
  • Cancel anytime to stop future charges

Annual subscriptions:

  • Prorated refund available within first 30 days
  • After 30 days: prorated refund for unused months
  • Contact support for refund requests

Enterprise Plan​

Custom refund terms in your contract.

Academic & Non-Profit Discounts​

We offer 50% discounts for:

  • 🎓 Educational institutions
  • 🏫 Students and teachers
  • 💚 Non-profit organizations
  • 🌍 Open source projects

Frequently Asked Questions​

Can I change plans anytime?​

Yes! Upgrade or downgrade whenever you need. Changes take effect immediately (upgrades) or at the end of your billing period (downgrades).

What happens if I exceed my storage limit?​

Free plan: Uploads will be blocked until you free up space.
Pro plan: We'll send a warning email. You have a grace period to upgrade or clean up.
Pro+ plan: Same as Pro, but with higher limits.
Enterprise: Contact us—we'll work with you to increase limits.

Do you offer a free trial of Pro/Pro+?​

The Free plan is our trial! It includes all core features so you can fully evaluate GoDiffy. When you're ready for higher limits, upgrade to Pro; when you need unlimited sites and retention, choose Pro+.

Can I get a refund if I'm not satisfied?​

Yes! Annual Pro subscriptions get prorated refunds within 30 days. Contact support and we'll process it quickly.

How do team member seats work?​

Pro plan: Up to 3 team members included. Each member gets their own login and full access to all sites.
Pro+ plan: Up to 5 team members included. Each member gets their own login and full access to all sites.
Enterprise: Unlimited team members with role-based permissions (coming soon).

What payment methods do you accept?​

Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) for all plans. Enterprise plans can also use ACH/bank transfer and invoicing.

Is there a long-term contract?​

No! Monthly plans are month-to-month. Annual plans are for one year but you can cancel anytime with a prorated refund.

Can I transfer my subscription to another account?​

Contact support at support@godiffy.com and we'll help you transfer.

Do you offer volume discounts?​

Yes! Enterprise plans include volume discounts for high API usage. Contact sales@godiffy.com for custom pricing.

What happens to my data if I cancel?​

Immediate: Nothing changes until your billing period ends. After period ends:

  • Free plan limits apply
  • Reports older than 24 hours are deleted
  • Excess sites must be deleted
  • Storage over limits is archived

Recommendation: Download important data before canceling.
